Hi, Finaly I can open a syrien site quietely, wuthout being watsh, I'm realy proud of all the progress u did, and I'm making a huge pub for your site here, people in france are more cultured than other Occidental countries, and they are interseted to know Syria more, and the great thing that I met a lot who want to visite Syria, and many who allready visited, and all of them said Damascus is the coolist city in the world, believe or not, but Damascus is loved more than Cairo or Beirut or Tunisia!
And that make me realy proud, don't you think?
Ok, good luck in your exam, I'm sure you work hard, and I ask god to save your effort.
Ciao

Does anyone here know what an Occidental country is?

Yeah, good luck in your exams... Inshallah, bitowfee2.

An occidental country=western country like UK, USA, Canada, Germany, France etc. The opposite is an oriental country (=eastern) like China, Malyasia, Vietnam, Japan, India etc.

I study medicine and I am planning to do my residency in the US, so I am preparing for this exam called the USMLE. I will probably take it in mid-July, and will be back posting afterwards inshallah.

So good luck again Ayman. We have a good syrian community in the US-you will enjoy your studies here inshallah.

Everybody else-So is Syria occidental or oriental? I think oriental but then where is the border?

Dear Ayman,

I wish you much luck in your exams, and hope that your future will be as bright as your present.

Even one photo a week (without explanation) would satisfy our hunger.

Come back soon.

Sasa.

For those interested in current affairs and geopolitics check out Robert Fisk, the award-winning British journalist's articles on www.robert-fisk.com

Better to view this site from an internet cafe as his artilces could be deemed to be 'controversial' and 'offensive' by Big Brother!
