hello i am french and my parents are both syrian, i love syria. i've seen many times this building through which we can cross the syrian/lebanon border in some syrian productions (moussalssalaât)on the syrian channel which is seen throughout the world, believe me all syrian people who are abroad, watch syrian TV. I wonder if you know where i can find a "forum" to speak with syrian people, teenagers, to get in touch with syrian people. (in english)

Man, they have not changed the cars they use on Damascus-Beirut line. I left in 1989 and I remember those Dodge cars, they were my favorite. Abu Issam picked us up at 6:00 in the morning and took us to Beirut. On the way back we bought bread from Shtura. Half of it always went to soldiers manning the checkpoints. Ah, the good old days. Thank you for this blog. I check it every day for pictures of a land I miss so much.
